Generations Furniture by Hudgins in downtown Cornelia, Georgia, is a third generation full service furniture store.

Forrest's grandfather Jewell Hudgins opened the first store in Toccoa, Georgia in 1939. In 1955 J. B. Hudgins,Jr (Forrest's Dad) came back to Toccoa to work with his dad.  J. B. graduated from Georgia Tech where he played football and was on the team when they won the National Championship in 1952. He then joined the U.S. Air Force and served in the Korean War and was stationed in Tripoli. He married Elaine Lewis(from Camilla,GA) and they lived in Tripoli until moving back to Toccoa. The whole Hudgins family grew up learning about people and furniture. The 4 boys all worked with their Dad and Grandfather from an early age.  They attended furniture markets, went to factories, delivered furniture and learned how to service the products sold.
